Food of ancient wisdom

The word “Aadim” denotes something that is original, the ancestor of everything.

Relish the food brought to you by the Madia & Muria Gond tribes of Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. These communities have inhabited and sustained the region regarded as one of the origins for Asian cultivated rice.

They have experimented with the diversity found in it’s fields and wilderness for centuries, developing innumerable varieties of paddy, millets and various other crops with unique characteristics such as pest resistance, climate resilience, high yield, better nutrition and medicinal values. The communities continue to thrive in an adobe of dense forests, clear streams and pristine farmlands, preserving the wealth of these traditional varieties and growing them organically.

All Aadim products are grown, stored and processed without the use of chemicals. The rice varieties are either unpolished or semi-polished, where as we never polish the millets. This ensures that a lot of nutrition and medicinal values are retained in our products giving them a rich taste, making them a healthy and nutritious choice.

Through Aadim we attempt to make these hidden treasures available to you as a humble effort and hope to make a difference in your life as well as those who grow it.
